| JobDesCription | Involve in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, which include Architect, Design, Analysis, Planning, Implementing, Testing and Maintenance of Hadoop/Spark/Big-Data applications, Develop applications using Big Data, Kafka, Cassandra, Apache Storm, Apache Spark and related areas, Implement of complex data processing algorithms in real time with optimized and efficient manner using Scala/Java, Develop & Implement Proof-Of-concept for new technologies. Make sure these concepts are working in Industry Standard technologies and Methods, Implement software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum software development process for building the enterprise applications. Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed high-level design documents with detailed process functions, Load Disparate Data Sets into the Cloudera-Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) for both structured and unstructured sources with Kafka and Sqoop, Utilitize amanzon web services,EC2,EMR,s3 and Google cloud platform service for spinning of spark job models to run effectively and efficiently on all Environments, Pre-Process the data with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) methodology using Hive and Pig, Involve in offloading/migrating several resources intensive Netezza applications into Hadoop, Assist SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and QA (Quality Assurance) teams before deploying the applications in Production Environment, Develop and Enhance Predictive Model’s in Spark 2.2 using Machine Learning concepts with Scala 2.11.8 and efficiently using Scala Test for Unit Testing, Scheduling and Supervise end-to-end data application pipeline using the Oozie and Crontab Scheduler’s for Spark Models, Work with Microsoft Azure devops & GIT version control systems to provide a common platform for all the development works to enable continuous development, deployment and Integration, Fine-tune applications for higher performance and higher volume throughput. Develop Unix Shell Scripts for system management.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent and 2 years of experience.
SALARY: $84,240 per year
HOURS: 9:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M 40 hours per week
